Guacamole

Okay gals, this is not a dish per say but a side dish. Guacamole is a good kind of fat and it so tasty with any kinds of Mexican food or sandwiches. My Mother in law gave me some avocados one day when visiting her. She stated "Here are some avocados so you can make him some guacamole." Sure why not? I love guacamole it is one of my favorite sides. The way I make mine, is by adding vegetables to it and also some Chile. Spicy is my Husbands second love so, I had to make it a bit spicy.
The things you will need are...

  • Avocados (2-5 depending how big they are and how much you would like to make)
  • Bowl
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Cilantro
  • Chile Serrano (2-3 depending on how spicy you would like it)
  • Salt
  • Chips

1. Cut up your condiment and set to the side.

2. Cut open the avocados.

3. To be able to scrap all the avocado off, use a spoon.

4. Once you have your bowl filled with the desired amount of avocado, smash it all up until no big chunks are left.

5. After mashing up the avocado, add your condiments.

6. Mix it all together.

7. Add a palm full of salt, or as desired (Note: if you are going to use tortilla chips, they might balance the saltiness for you).

8. Serve with your choice of tortilla chips.

Note: If there are left overs and you would like to keep the guacamole green, add half a spoonful of mayo. You may add the mayo if the guacamole is already discolored.

ENJOY!
