- 1/2 to 1 pound of ground beef
- Onion
- Pepper
- Salt
- Tortillas de maiz
- Oil
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Sour Cream
- Salsa
1. Heat up 2 pans. One with oil half way up and the other with just a drop of oil.
3. Cut up 1/2 of onion into squares and let cook in the pan with a drop oil on medium heat.
4. Once onions are brown, add your ground beef with salt and pepper and cook thoroughly.
5. While meat is cooking, cut up your condiments.
6. Once meat is cooked, warm up some tortillas for 30 seconds in the microwave.
7. In the middle of the tortilla, add some meat.
8. Roll up the tortilla as tightly as you can. You may add a toothpick to hold the rolled up tortilla in place.
9. Slowly place the taquito into the pan filled with oil and let the tortilla get golden.
10. To keep taquitos rolled up while cooking place them closely together.
11. Once the taquito is nice and golden place on plate with napkins for cool down.
12. Once cooled down serve with all your condiments.
