Garlic Chicken | Pollo de ajo

One day I was wondering what to make for dinner. I had some chicken but I was not sure how to make it. I had tried every recipe I knew that required chicken, so on my way home I was looking on Pinterest for a new recipe. I just typed in Chicken recipes and came up with one that I realized I had all the ingredients for. I never tried this before and I was a little skeptical using the brown sugar because my Husband is not a sweet tooth kind of guy. But I decided to try it anyway and crossed my fingers that it would be delicious. And thank God it was so good! The things you will need are...

  • Boneless Chicken breasts (How ever many you need)
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oil or olive oil
  • Pepper
  • Salt

1. Heat up your oven to 450 degrees and cut up the garlic cloves.

2. In a baking dish spread some oil across it so the chicken does not stick (or you may lay a foil across it).

3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides and place in cooking dish.

4. In a pan with a bit of oil, cook the garlic cloves until golden brown.

5. Add the 4 tablespoons of brown sugar and mix together.

6. Once the brown sugar is mixed well, pour over the pieces of chicken.

7. Place in the oven for forty minutes.

8. After time is up, check if chicken is evenly cooked and if so remove from oven to let cool down.

9. Serve with your choice of sides.

ENJOY!
