Chicken Broccoli and Mushroom Stir Fry | Pollo brócoli y hongos

I came across this recipe from Natasha's Kitchen, and I felt like it would be a good dish for my Husband. He loves broccoli and I have never used it in a recipe. He also loves mushrooms so I decided that this would be a great dish for dinner. I did not have all the ingredients for it so I just used what I had and substituted some ingredients. Despite this hiccup, it came out so delicious. The follwing recipe is the one I made. If you would like the full recipe, please see the link above.
The things you will need are...

  • Chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 medium garlic cloves
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • Broccoli
  • 1 small onion
  • Mushrooms
1. Cut up your chicken breasts into cubes.

2. In a bowl filled with 1/4 cup of all purpose flour, coat the chicken and set aside.

3. In a bowl add: the rest of the flour, 1 cup chicken broth, 1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce, and 2 medium garlic cloves grated.

4. Whisk together and set aside.

5. In a pan with a bit of oil, cook the chicken.

6. In a skillet, add 2 Tbsp of oil and cook the mushrooms, broccoli, and the small onion.

7.  I covered the skillet so the vegetables can cook thoroughly.

8. Once the vegetables are cooked thoroughly, add the sauce and let come to a boil.

9. When the chicken is nice and golden, add to the mixture.

10. Cover the skillet and let simmer. Once the chicken is tender you may serve.

ENJOY!
