Homemade Pizza | Pizza Casera

My Husband had asked me to make some homemade pizza. Pizza is his ultimate favorite and when I am away, that is his go to. So I decided to make the homemade pizza using the ingredients I thought would be good and tried out two ways. Personally my Husband felt like the second way tasted better, but for time sake and hungry children I recommend the first way. The things will need are...

  • Heat up oven to 425 degrees
  • 12'' pizza pan
  • A pizza cutter
  • Pillsbury Pizza crust or Jiffy Pizza crust mix
  • 1/2 cups of water
  • All purpose flour
  • Pizza sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • And any toppings you like on your pizza

First way...

1. Pop open the Pillsbury pizza crust.

2. Place the dough on the pan.

3. The instructions on the package says to unfold and it unfolds into a square.

4. I decided to round the dough instead and stretched it out.

5. From this point, you may add the sauce.

Second way...

1. Pour the Jiffy Pizza crust in a bowl.

2. Add 1/2 cups of water.

3. Mix until dough is soft.

4. Cover dough with a damp cloth and store in a warm place for 5 minutes.

5. After 5 minutes, knead the dough with flour.

6. Once dough is not sticky and is spongy, it is ready to stretch out.

7. This dough can stretch 12'' to 14'', so grease the pan and begin molding your dough.

8. This crust needs to pre-bake for 2-3 minutes, then you can add the pizza sauce.

Final steps...

1. Add your cheese.

2. Then add all the toppings you would like.

3. Place pizza in oven and let bake for 18-20 minutes.

4. After time is up, remove from oven and let cool down.

5. Once cooled down, cut the pizza and serve!

ENJOY!
