Growing up, my mom would come up with quick and easy snacks. There were times when we wanted pizza, but my mom did not have the means to afford it. Instead, she would go to the 99 cents store and buy cheese, pepperoni, and tomato sauce to make a pizza sandwich. It was so delicious it did soothe our craving for pizza. I remember she had a waffle iron and to be creative, she would make them on there. I know there are many ways to make this quick snack, but this is how I remember it being made. Make this snack your own by adding any toppings you enjoy. The things you will need are...
- Bread (your preference)
- Tomato sauce or pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppimgs
- Hot pan or waffle iron
1. Heat up your pan or waffle iron.
2. On one slice of your bread, spread your sauce.
3. Sprinkle your cheese.
4. Add your favorite toppings.
5. Cover the slice with the other haf and place on your skillet or waffle iron.
6. Let the sandwich cook and cheese melt.
7. Serve.
ENJOY!
