Banana Bread with Chocolate and nuts | Pan de Plátano con Chocolate y Nueces

     Okay peeps, I just want to share that I am not a baker. This recipe was done by my lovely sister who loves to bake. I asked her if I could feature her recipe on my blog and she gladly accepted. One thing she told me was that you can add anything to this recipe you would like. For example, I know there are some people out there are allergic to peanuts or some kind of nuts, you can remove this ingredient. It is a fast recipe and the bread comes out so fluffy. The things you would need are...


  • 1 1/2 Cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 splash of vanilla extract
  • 1 handful of nuts & or chocolate chips
  • Pam spray
  • 1 large bowl
1. Pre Heat oven to 350 degrees.


2. In the large bowl pour in the flour.


3. Add the baking soda.


4. Add the salt.


5. Add the cinnamon.


6. Stir all together. 


7. In a separate bowl, add the 3 ripe bananas. 


8. Add the brown sugar to the bowl.


9. Mix together until it turns into a liquid.


10. Add the melted butter and mix.


11. Add the 3 eggs and mix.


12. Add the vanilla extract. 


13. Add the dry ingredients from. 


14. Mix thoroughly.


15. Add the nuts & or chocolate chips.




16. Spray your pan with Pam evenly.


17. Pour in the mix evenly on the pan and place in oven & let bake for 15-20 minutes.



18. After bread is fully baked, remove from oven and let cool. Then cut bread into desired pieces.


19. Serve with plain or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
