- 8 oz bag of tamarind
- Sugar
- Ice
- 48 fluid oz of water (3 16 oz water bottles)
1. Peel the tamarind & remove stem. Leave seeds.
2. Place tamarind in pot filled with water and let come to a boil.
3. Let come to a boil. Once the tamarind is soft, let cool.
4. Once cooled, remove the seeds and any stems left. Then squish the tamarind.
5. Pour the pot with tamarind into the blender.
6. Blend until smooth.
7. Pour blended mixture into a jar with a strainer. Move mixture around with a spoon for faster draining.
8. Pour in the water.
9. Add sugar to taste.
10. Add ice to chill.
11. Serve
