Oven baked Potatoes with Chorrizo | Papas de Chorrizo al horno

     I decided to make this because I noticed I had potatoes left over and I needed to use them ASAP. So I deiced to try something new and it turned out to be a very good recipe. This recipe is a quick snack for your kids to hold your kids until dinner. All you need is three main ingredients...


  • Potatoes
  • Beef or Pork Chorrizo (You can do half of it or the whole thing)
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Salt
  • Oregano (Optional)
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1. In a skillet cook the chorrizo. (I used the entire chorrizo)


2. While the chorrizo is cooking, wash and peel the desired amount of potatoes (I used six potatoes). 


3. Cut the potatoes to your liking, either squares, cubes, or fries and place in a baking dish.


4. When the chorrizo is cooked, pour onto the potatoes and mix well.



5. Sprinkle some salt and add mozzarella cheese or the Mexican mix cheese. You can also add the Oregano spice in this step to your liking.


6. Cover with foil and let bake for 1 hour 20 minutes or until potatoes are fully cooked.



7. Once baked thoroughly, you may serve.
