Salsa de Avocado

So one day I was craving some tacos, and the place I wanted them from was closed for the night. Then I thought, why don't I just make my own with my own salsa? So, that's exactly what I did. I wanted to make a good salsa that would go good with my tacos. I searched for a good recipe on Youtube and found one that I knew would be so delicious. I did however, change it a bit because I wanted it to be spicy. The things you will need are...

  • 6 small avocados
  • 5 tomatillos
  • 3-5 chile Serrano (optional for spice)
  • Half of an onion
  • Cilantro
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Jalapeño juice (optional)

1. Boil the tomatillos and chile serranos.

2. Cut open the avocados and place in the blender.

3. Add 1/2 cup of japeño juice.

4. Add 1/4 of onion & the 2 garlic cloves.

5. Add 1/2 tbsp of salt.

6. Squeeze in the lemon.

7. Add the tomatillos and chile serranos when they are fully boiled.

8.  Add half of the freshly washed cilantro.

9. Blend until liquefied. If the blender stalls, add a bit of water to help the process.

10. Taste test for salt. The consistency should be thick not watery.
Once ready, you may serve!

ENJOY!
