Veggtable Chow Mein

This recipe was a request I received from my Husband. I have never made this before so I was a bit hesitant about making it. However, it turned out to be quite easy, especially because I found some short cuts. You can cut up all the veggies so they can be fresh, or you can get frozen veggies chow mien stir fry like I did and save you some time. The things you will need are...

  • Chow mien noodles
  • 3-5 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • Veggies (carrots, peas, celery, onions, mushrooms, bean sprouts, cabbage)
  • Splash of vegetable oil

1. Boil the chow mien noodles.

2.  In a wok with a wooden handle, add a splash of oil and turn stove on on medium heat.

3. Once the wok is warmed up, add the bag of frozen veggies or your fresh cut up veggies and let cook.

4. Once the noodles are cooked, strain thoroughly.

5. Add soy sauce to the veggies to your liking and mix.

6. In a clean skillet, add the noodles and the fully cooked veggies.

7. Mix together and serve.

ENJOY!

Can we add meats or anytime of beef? Which type of meat would you recommend?
