Baked Chicken and white Rice | Pollo al horno y arroz blanco

      There are many ways to cook chicken, but I think the easiest way to cook it is by baking it in the oven. Yes this process may take a bit longer, but I feel like it is a bit more clean and your house will not get smoked up with chicken smoke. You can bake chicken breasts, chicken thighs, or drumsticks. In this segment, I will be sharing how to bake chicken breasts along with some white rice to go with it. The things you will need are...

  • Chicken
  • Oven
  • Pot
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Lemon pepper seasoning
  • Water
  • Foil 
  • Cookie sheet or glass bowl

1. Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees. 


2. Choose the pieces of chicken you would like to bake.


3. In a bowl or plastic container, place 4 tps of butter.


4. Melt the butter for about 30 seconds in the microwave. 


5. After melted, add the Lemon pepper seasoning into the butter. 


6. Place chicken in the butter and roll it around. 


7. Pace chicken on foil and on cookie sheet or glass bowl. 


8. Place in oven for an hour and a half (Flip them over every 15 minutes so each side bakes evenly).


========= While the chicken is baking, let's move on to the white rice. =========


9. In a pot, place 2 cups of water.


10. Wait until the water is boiling. 


11. Place water on low, add 1 cup of white rice. 


12. Cover the rice and let sit for 15-20 minutes. 


13. Once rice is tender, you may add 1 tsp of butter and 1 tsp of salt. 


14. After the hour and a half and chicken looks golden, remove from oven for cool down. 


15. Serve your delicious chicken with your fluffy white rice or on a fresh green salad.
