     I came across this recipe on Pinterest and I wanted to try it out. However, I decided to change some of the ingredients due to dietary choices. If you would like to try out the original recipe, click on the link above. The things you will need are...

  • 1 lb. wide egg noodles
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2-3 thinly-sliced sirloin steak's 
  • 1/2 an onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb. sliced mushrooms 
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or light sour cream
  • Dried parsley 

1.  Boil the pasta with some salt.


2. Cut the sirloin steak.


3. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a skillet.


4. Add the meat and let cook.


5. Cut the onion and garlic.


6. Once the chicken is cooked thoroughly place in a plate.


7. In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp of butter and cook the onion and garlic.


8. Once the onion and garlic are cooked add the mushrooms and cook thoroughly.


9. In a bowl add the chicken broth and flour and stir. 


10. Pour onto mushrooms once they are fully cooked.


11. Add the Greek yogurt or sour cream.


12. Mix.


13. Add the cooked sirloin steak.


14. Let simmer.


15. Once the pasta is ready, strain and add to a plate.


16. Top off with some creamy sauce and some parsley flakes.

     Everyone knows that a Hispanic person loves their spicy dishes. We love to remake things based on our liking and this recipe is exactly that. The great thing about this recipe, is that you can make burritos, tostadas or even tacos out of this recipe. The things you will need are...


  • Eggs
  • Chile de Arbol 

1.  Boil about half a bag of chile de arbol. This depends on how spicy you would like the eggs.


2. Make your scrambled eggs. 


3. Once the chile is soft, blend and add salt to taste.



4. Pour into eggs.


5. Mix thoroughly and serve

     When I was a kid, my aunt would look after us. She would always make these tostadas that I came to really enjoy. They were made out of chicken but it was marinated in some sauce. I never knew what kind of sauce it was until I came across it and just by smelling it, I knew it was that sauce. However, it was not a sauce it was a salsa and it was El Pato. After my discovery, I decided to make them the best way I remembered. The things you will need are...


  • 2-3 Chicken breasts boneless
  • 1 16 oz can of El Pato Salsa (Non not or hot)
  • Tostatas
  • Lettuce
  • Queso Fresco
  • Sour Cream
  • Beans (optional)









1. Boil the chicken breasts.


2. After the chicken is boiled, let cool and shred.


3. Place chicken in a skillet on medium heat and pour in the can of Salsa. 


4. Mix, add salt to taste and let simmer.



5. Mash up come beans if you wish.


6. On a tostada, spread some beans and add some chicken.


7. Add the lettuce, sour cream and cheese.
